Dr. Kirby Perrault

Dr. Kirby Perrault is a graduate of the Northwestern College of Chiropractic, now called Northwestern Health Sciences University, in Bloomington, MN.  A native of Canada, Dr. Kirby chose Okemos, Michigan after multiple internships in the Mid-West. Dr. Kirby’s first academic introduction to the United States was with a four-year hockey scholarship to Michigan Tech University in Houghton, MI.  Dr. Kirby regards staying active as part of his optimal wellness program and has continued to play hockey, as well as, water-skiing, weight lifting, running, golfing and biking.

Dr. Kirby would like to share a little about his personal experience with chiropractic. “The biggest change in my life personally from chiropractic care has been the relief of chronic allergies and asthma.  Since getting under chiropractic care twenty years ago, I have not had to take any prescription or over the counter medications. My only regret is not finding out about the benefits of chiropractic sooner.

My wife Julie has been under regular chiropractic care for more than twenty years. She began care with feelings of instability and pain in her low back and found complete resolution.  Julie delivered our six children at home, with the help of a midwife and chiropractic care throughout all of her pregnancies. Our children Teddy, Gracie, Paulina, Toby, Faith, Serene and Walter are all under 16 years old and have been under chiropractic care since they were hours old.  Our pediatrician continues to be amazed at their level of health, especially since none of them have received any vaccinations and have never taken any prescription medications. My family gets their spines checked weekly to maintain an optimal level of function and healing.”[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text 0=””]

Dr. R. Craig Heinrich

Dr. Craig Heinrich is an alumnus of Louisiana State University and a 1997 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. A native of Warren, MI; Dr. Craig has been in family chiropractic practice in Toms River, NJ and Gaylord, MI. He is happy to be back in southern Michigan with his wife Jennifer and their daughters Ava and Audrey.

Dr. Craig was introduced to chiropractic as a competitive middle distance runner while a pre-teen. After setting the city record in the mile for 11 year olds, running caused a severe low back pain with short distances the next year. His coach recommended a chiropractor that treated many athletes at his high school. The results were so dramatic; they left impression years later in choosing a career and life path.

Dr. Craig has seen the benefits of chiropractic beyond back and neck pain. In 15 years of practice, he has seen patients greatly improve their quality of life by adopting the chiropractic lifestyle of adjustments, nutrition and exercise. “Like most patients, I was introduced to chiropractic to take care of my back pain but continued in care because of the health benefits.” He looks forward to helping as many people as he can and introduce more people to chiropractic to achieve their optimal health potential at Okemos Family Chiropractic.

Dr. Trevor

Dr. Trevor was first introduced to chiropractic at Western Michigan University as he was studying Exercise Science. It was there that he realized the importance of chiropractic care for not only athletes, but also the general population. While attending Life University, he interned at Atlanta Sport and Spine, Cancer Treatment Centers of America and the Life University Outreach Center. He strengthened his philosophy of the importance of healthy spinal bio-mechanics as well as healthy supportive tissue at this time in his life.  Dr. Trevor finished his education having received certifications in chiropractic techniques, soft tissue modalities and corrective exercise.

He treats his patients with a holistic approach by incorporating corrective Chiropractic care, soft tissue therapy, Torque Release, functional movement screening, and functional rehabilitation to diagnose and treat the underlying cause of injury and disease. It is his goal to provide the highest standard of care to every patient, as well as educate and instruct techniques for improving performance and daily activities.

Dr. Trevor is a native of Okemos, Michigan and recently moved back after practicing in Florida for 3 years. He is an avid sports enthusiast, promoting an active lifestyle: he enjoys exercising, playing basketball, golfing, paddle boarding and spending time with his family and dog, Addi.
